Important to Note
Access: The property is accessed via August smart lock, you will receive a code in advance.
Parking: There is parking for 2-3 vehicles onsite.
Beach Access: The private beach is steps away, directly across the street. The beach is fenced in on three sides for your enjoyment and privacy. We offer a kayak year-round and paddleboard and pool floaties with anchor tie-up anchor in summer. The yard has water views with outdoor seating, hot tub, and two grills. The waterfront/beaches in this area are all private, so beach access is limited to within the property lines (you will have plenty of space, but wandering past the boundary is prohibited).
Neighboring Units and Quiet Hours: Other units and driveways are visible from windows. Quiet hours start at 10PM, and after 12AM (midnight) gathering in outdoor areas and use of outdoor amenities (beach, yard, hot tub, firepit) is prohibited. As the unit may be difficult to find at night and our neighbors don’t appreciate lost guests in their driveway, late check-in after 9:30PM is not recommended.
Heat and A/C: The home is heated and has A/C in the main area and primary bedroom.
Children, Pets, and Extra Guests: The neighboring beachfronts are private, so children and all members of the party must be aware of boundary rules and under control. The property and beach by nature dangerous for unsupervised children. Pets are not permitted. Small events under the 6 person limit are permitted (birthdays, engagements, etc) as long as quiet hours are respected. Additional daytime guests require disclosure and must be within parking limitations. For commercial events/filming we require additional disclosures, reach out for inquiries.
Shellfish and Fishing: We do not allow shellfish collection on this property and violators will be fined. Belfair State Park is nearby and offers oyster and clam foraging. Fishing is available in the Hood Canal but subject to seasonal days and licenses: check in with the state on licensing and requirements.
Security: For security, we have outdoor cameras at points of entry to the property. The cameras cover the parking areas and entranceway. The cameras do not face the hot tub or beach, and footage is only reviewed if there are reported issues.
Regional Norms: The area is subject to occasional power outages (which may impact well/water operation) and burn bans. We do not offer compensation for regional burn bans or road closures. We offer compensation for daytime power outages over 90 minutes. We back on to a wooded area and do not utilize pesticides to protect local pollinators. As a result, insects may wander into the home despite our high cleaning standards.
