Important to Note
Access: The property is accessed via August smart lock, you will receive a code in advance.
Parking: There is parking for 2-3 vehicles onsite.
Community: This is a quiet lake community, quiet hours and respect for neighbors will be expected. Our neighbors notify us immediately if rules are violated. Our hot tub is unavailable after 11PM: firepit and outdoor areas used after 11PM must be used quietly.
Children: We are family friendly! Amenities for kids include: kids’ utensils, board games, and some small toys. Note that our yard is open and has some steep portions and steps, so please supervise children while outside.
Heat and A/C: The cabin is heated, but does not heat as efficiently as newer homes. In cold seasons we recommend using the wood-burning fireplace to keep things warm, and when temperature is below 40°F/5°C the use of the wood stove is necessary for your comfort. We have air conditioning to keep things cool in the summer.
Events and Extra Guests: We do not allow extra guests beyond 8 total (ie: you are welcome to have daytime non-overnight visitors of up to 8 people total, including those on the reservation). Small events under the 8 person limit are permitted (birthdays, engagements, etc) as long as quiet hours are respected. For commercial events/filming we require additional disclosures, reach out for inquiries.
Pets: We allow up to 2 dogs, with a pet fee of $70. Our outdoor deck is fenced, but the rest of our property is not: therefore your dog must be leashed at all times while outdoors. These rules are strictly enforced and our neighbors will notify us immediately if your dog wanders. Please bring your own towels to wipe off wet/muddy dogs, and clean up after your pet.
Security: For security, we have outdoor cameras at points of entry to the property. Camera 1 is facing the driveway coming in, and Camera 2 faces outward from the outside of the deck towards the lake. The cameras do not face the hot tub or outdoor dining, and footage is only reviewed if there are reported issues.
